Theory and practical lessons to help students to learn about the ancient world, it's history, archaeology and the natural habitat along the coast.
- The Archaeologist:
Working directly on a simulated excavation and studying it's surface, the students learn a little bit about the archaeologist's profession and the methods of recording and restoring the finds.
The lessons during the field work shows the stratigraphy and the reconstruction of the ancient landscape by studying the traces left by man over the last thousands of years.
- Prehistoric peoples:
The workshop is based on modelling clay and the making of vases using forms and decorations used by Neolithic man and from the Bronze Age. One can also choose to make tools, painting on bowls or "wall paintings".
- Painting in Ancient Egypt:
An introductory lesson using slides and then one does a painting using Egyptian ichnographies.
- Greek figured ceramics:
An introductory lesson with slides and then the decoration of a vase using the black figure technique.
- Weaving:
An introductory lesson using slides about the ancient methods of spinning and weaving. The students then makes a piece of cloth using a loom.

- Etruscan language:
An introductory lesson with slides and then the Etruscan alphabet is painted on a piece of wood.
- Etruscan painting:
An introductory lesson using slides, then one paints a picture using Etruscan ichnographies.
- Mosaics:
An introductory lesson then the making of a decorative mosaic.
- The story of an amphora:
A piece of a roman amphora tells it's story. Drawing, one reconstructs the world behind the objects of the past.
- Games and toys from the past:
An introductory lesson with slides then one makes a toy that the children in the past used to play with.
- Life in a medieval castle:
Using original methods one can do a fresco, decorate pottery or sew a garment like a "scarsella" ( money bag ).
- Fishing from the past to modern days
